Shampoo bars are an eco -smart solution that cuts down on plastic waste of bottles.

Formulated by a loving mother (our founder Radha) to solve a long-standing scalp problem for her son, who did not like the feel of traditional herbal hair care.

Thus came the perfect solution by removing all the harmful or unnecessary ingredients used in commercial shampoos, and replacing the toxic bottle with a clean, gentle bar. 

Infused with rosemary & basil, Mama’s Love softens, cleans & conditions all hair types. The ingredients are consciously minimal & mild, ensuring that the scalp's natural oils are preserved and not stripped away.

No harsh chemicals like SLS, SLES, and parabens. 

All ingredients are biodegradable and have a low environmental footprint.

Directions for Use: 

• Use one to three times a week
• Wet your hair. Foam the bar and apply on scalp 
• For long hair, part your hair to reach the scalp. See video demo here.
• Massage the scalp and lather your hair
• Rinse off

Note: Shampoo bars are more concentrated than liquid shampoos, which have over 80% water.  It is said that 1 shampoo bar is equivalent to 2-3 shampoo bottles. A little goes a long way, you don’t have to use too much of the product. It will foam sufficiently.

What to expect:

In humid weather, the bar may soften. This is normal and won't affect its effectiveness. Simply take a small amount in your fingers to use.

To get the most: 

• Keep the bar dry and well drained for longer life of the product
• After shower, store in a well drained soap dish with holes. Please keep in mind that natural products dissolve faster in water.
• If possible, keep it in the driest corner of your bathroom after shower

Please note - no toxic chemicals :

One often gets confused between the ingredients SLS & SLSa. 

This bar contains SLSa (Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate) which is NOT the same as the toxic SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate). 

SLSa is a biodegradable nature-derived ingredient from coconut and palm oils. It is a safe, skin friendly cleanser that provides a rich quality lather. 

SLS, on the other hand, penetrates into your body easily and causes irritation.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate, Xanthan gum, French Green Clay, Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside, Jojoba Oil, Behentrimonium Methosulfate (BTMS-50), Rosemary and Basil oils, Geogard ECT

Storage:

Don’t store unopened products in your bathroom. Store in a cool & dry place.
