Made specially for those choosing the Satvic philosophy of “jo aap kha nahi sakte, woh body pe laga nahi sakte”, this herbal bath powder is made from 23 edible ingredients. 

But don’t eat this bath powder! It’s for external use only. Remember, isse aap khaane mein masaale ke jaise mila nahi sakte!

Can be used for daily bathing. It not only scrubs and deep cleanses your skin, but also is healing because of the medicinal ingredients used.

Directions for Use:

Scoop out a spoonful of powder into a cup. Add water and make a paste. Wet yourself thoroughly and apply the paste all over. Scrub and massage skin gently. Rinse off.

Mix & use with coconut milk, rose water, any vegetable or fruit juices for added goodness. Or mix with the strained pulp from coconut milk or juices.

What to expect:

No foaming ingredients. It will not lather. Feels scrubby on the skin. 

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place and not in your bathroom. The bathroom is a humid place that encourages fungus. Our product contains no preservatives and hence can be vulnerable.
  • Use a dry spoon to scoop out the powder into a cup.
  • Do not use moist or wet fingers to scoop the powder from the jar/packet.

  8. White turmeric (zedoary, kachur, poolangizhangu)
  9. Nut grass (nagarmotha, korai kilangu)
  10. Rose petals (gulab)
  11. Hibiscus flowers (gudhal, jasum, jaswand, cembarutti)
  12. Spanish cherry (maulsari, bakul, magizhamboo)
  13. Neem flower (neem, veppai, vepa)
  14. Liquorice (mulethi, jethimadh, yashtimadhu, adimadhuram)
  15. Arjuna bark (kahua, marudam, erramaddi)
  16. Vetiver (khus-khus, valo, vettiveru)
  17. Marjoram (murwa, marikozhundu)
  18. Orange Peel  (narangi, narinja)
  19. Neem leaves (neem, veppai, vepa)
  20. Sandalwood (chandan, chandanam)
  21. Sweet Basil (babui tulsi, ram tulasi, kama kasturi)
  22. Holy Basil (tulsi, tulasi)
  23. Pomegranate (anar, daadim, madhulai, danimma)

Best before

Best used within 3 months, though it has a 1-year life.

In case, over time, you find a bug in the jar or it smells / feels stale, discard it. You can put it in your plants or compost bin.

What else to consider:

You should be ready for the slight hassle of using a bath powder daily. The powder can mess up the bathroom floor a bit and is not as convenient as soaps.
